Is Dislite free?
Yes. Creating an account, joining groups, voice and video calls, chat and clip sharing are all free. There is no credit card step and no paid tier you need for the basics.
Do I need to verify my age with an ID or a face scan?
No. You sign up with an email address and a username. Dislite never asks for a government ID, a selfie or a face scan.
Does Dislite show ads?
No. There are no ads, no sponsored quests and no in-app currency for watching promotions.
Can I use Dislite on my phone?
Yes. Dislite runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux. On a phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app and can send notifications.
Do I have to download anything?
No. Open Dislite in a modern browser and sign in. Installing it to your home screen or desktop is optional.
Does Dislite have voice channels and video calls?
Yes. Groups have voice channels you can drop in and out of, and you can call friends one to one. Calls support video and screen sharing.
Does Dislite have noise suppression?
Yes. Voice channels use Krisp noise suppression where it is available and fall back to RNNoise, an open-source filter, so keyboards, fans and background noise are cut from your mic.
Can I share game clips?
Yes. Upload clips to share highlights with your group, right next to the chat.
How do I keep my account secure?
Turn on two-factor login in your settings. Signing in then needs a code from your authenticator app as well as your password.
Can I move my friends over from Discord?
Create a group, then send your friends an invite link. They can sign up in about a minute and land straight in your group.
